Participation in Skill Development training programs for faculties under ISTE BNY Program.
ISTE & BNY are planning to conduct the online skill development training programs in different areas. These programs will be conducted by C-DAC in online mode, where they will get an opportunity to learn about emerging areas.
The proposed training programs are:
1. Cybersecurity with Full Hands-On
2. MERN Full Stack Development
3. AI and ML with Python for Teaching Professionals
4. Statistical Analysis and Data Handling Using Python: A Practical Approach
Eligibility Criteria:
Target Participants
Ø Faculty members, trainers and researchers from recognized Engineering Colleges, Universities, Technical Institutions and Polytechnics in India.
Ø Participants from departments such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Data Science or any related disciplines are eligible; interdisciplinary faculties are also encouraged.
Knowledge Prerequisites
Ø Basic familiarity with computer programming and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
Ø For specific courses:
Ø Cyber Security: Basic understanding of networks and operating systems.
Ø Ø MERN/Full Stack Development: Basic knowledge of any programming language (C/C++/Java/Python) or Python programming.
Institutional Endorsement
Ø Application should be recommended by the Head of Institution/Department with the confirmation that they will be allowed to join the training program as per the training schedule decided by ISTE.
Mode of Participation
Ø FDPs will be conducted online, requiring:
Ø Ø Stable internet connectivity.
Ø Ø A system/laptop with required software tools as per course prerequisites.
Ø Ø Commitment to attend all sessions and complete hands-on assignments.
Certification Criteria
Ø Participants must maintain a minimum 80% attendance and complete all practical/lab exercises and assessments
Please note neither Institute nor Faculty have to pay any charges for the training. However, it will be the responsibility of the Institute to spare faculty for training as per schedule and faculty is expected to complete the training successfully with attendance and performance. Further Trained faculty is required to train at least 100 students.
The institutions are identifying the eligible faculties (Two for each program) who are having required basic knowledge and ready to train students from your institute. This will give an opportunity to the faculty to gain knowledge in trending technology and certification and in turn it will be beneficial to the students of your institute.

Please note that the faculty has to give their choice of preference of training in the google form for the above program. Faculties are free to give their choice for one or more programs as per their choice.
They can give preference for all programs.
For registering, please be ready with the following data:
Ø Step 1: ISTE Institutional Membership Number Optional) )
Ø Step 2: Fill the basic details of college and participant’s personal details (2 participants from each institute per program)
Ø Step 3: Participants ISTE Life Membership Number. (If the participant is not a life member, he/she can become a Life Member through online portal "https://membership.isteonline.in/".
Ø Step 4: Scanned copy of recommendation letter (In a single letter, mention details of two participants and duly signed by the head of the institution with institute seal).
Selection Procedure: Based on the options given and performance in the screening test.
Objective of this program is to give exposure to emerging trends to students which is a basic need and can be fulfilled only after imparting appropriate training to the faculty.
With this motto BNY and ISTE have joined hand in hand with the Train the Trainer concept to make student future ready. We expect about 100 students to be trained after successful completion of the Training. However, with your strong support this figure can be increased to any level.
