Guidelines for Conducting Self-Financed STTPs/Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) Online
To Be Followed by the Organizing Institute Upon Approval from ISTE

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) invites applications for its online Faculty Development Programs.

  Immediately After Approval from ISTE: 

1. Share the following:
   • Link to the FDP program brochure or template.
   • Registration link for faculty participants.
   • Detailed day-wise program schedule.
   • List of resource persons.
   • Topics to be covered and expected outcomes post-event.

  Before the Sessions Begin:

• Collect and review participant response sheets to confirm the total number of attendees.
   

  During the Program (Day 1 to Last Day):

1. Share the invitation link (with password) for each session daily.
2. Record attendance using screenshots or other formats for online tools.
3. Conduct daily tests or assessments and collect output responses.

  On the Last Day:

• Gather feedback from attendees via response sheets.

  Post-Event:

• Submit a report summarizing the outcomes achieved during the program.
• Share a Google Drive link with ISTE, updating daily progress and all relevant materials.

  Guidelines for Conducting Self-Financed STTP's:-

  The Self-Financed Short-Term Training Programs (STTPs) are introduced to enhance the technical competencies of teachers and enable their    eligibility for career advancement opportunities. These programs are conducted under the overall QIP Scheme of MHRD/AICTE, with the        following key features:

1. Local Execution:
   • Programs are conducted locally, ensuring that participants do not require leave.
   • The academic schedule of the institution remains unaffected.
2. Minimal Overheads:
   • No boarding or lodging facilities required.
   • Zero travel allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) expenses.
3. Self-Funded:
   • Expenses for guest experts and instructional materials are borne by the organizing institute.
   • A nominal course fee of ₹118/- (inclusive of 18% GST) must be paid to the ISTE Headquarters upon program completion.
